Really? WTF? Who has a closed blog? Doesn't that defeat the purpose?

doug's Gravatar I used to have a family blog with .htaccess authentication as a place for my family to communicate and keep it private. We were sharing information about schedules, contact info, etc... that we wouldn't generally share on an open blog.
